Chive Sea Bar and Lounge

This is the best food we’ve ever had. The mussels, Oceans 5, She crab soup, and old fashioned were amazing. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, such great ambiance music, all employees super nice and helpful. Make sure you get reservations even if it looks like there is a ton of open reservations or empty restaurant, we got there with no reservation and had to sit at the bar for service because reservations were gone even though the restaurant was empty. Almost all the reserved tables were intimate 2 person booths with curtain partition you have semi private dining.

Lived up to its reputation! Delicious seafood cooked perfectly! My scallops were seared perfectly and melted in my mouth. I had the lemon caper sauce on the side which was a great choice. My companions raved about the she-crab soup, lamb chops, and filet. Chilean sea bass was excellent! Wagyu ping was very good. Shrimp ping was very tender with a nice char grilled flavor. Two skewers of 3 shrimp each. Very Attentive service from John, acoustics allowed us to carry on a conversation easily even though the restaurant was full. Desserts were average.

The decor and vibe of this restaurant is amazing. Our server O-Shay was so professional and had a great personality as well! We had a fantastic blood orange martini to start followed by shrimp cocktail, prawns with risotto and the mixed grill. All were delicious! If we ever come back to Savannah, this will definitely be a dinner spot for us!

Savannah is full of amazing places to eat... you almost needmore than 5 stars to distinguish amongst the greats. There are 5 star restaurants... and then there are times where 5 stars doesn't even begin to explain. Every bite of every meal at the table was delictable. The seabass literally melted in your mouth paired perfectly with savory risotto and slightly sweet sauce. Amazing.

After eating at two mediocre restaurants the previous days this was our final night out and it did not disappoint. I had the salmon with rice. The salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. My husband had the Ocean's Five and loved it. The curry sauce was amazing. They had lobster spring rolls for the special and it was really good and I don't really like lobster but it was so good. I decided after my entree to get the Caesar salad and it was one of the best Caesar salads I have had in a while. My husband also had a cocktail, an Old Fashion with smoke and it was really nice. The red velvet cake cheesecake was also good. 10/10 for service, food, and atmosphere. It is a smaller restaurant so get a reservation. Definitely on my go to list when we're in Savannah.

The food was excellent. The service was excellent as well. It was my birthday and I received a complimentary glass of champagne which I enjoyed. My sea bass stuffed with crab was phenomenal. My husband got the wagu surf and turf and it was perfect. We had the lobster eggs roll too and they were also delicious...10/10 ...We will definitely return.

Pretty cool spot. The food was good but nothing over the top amazing in my opinion. The curry in our seafood platter had a pretty good taste, but a little on the sweeter side for me. She crab soup was very good. A bit sweeter than I would prefer but very good. The atmosphere is lovely. Service was ok, sort of slow actually.

Great vibe and atmosphere! Sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks (Old-fashioned and French 75) both delicious. Also had the chilled oysters and fried calamari. Services was amazing. Our bartender was attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend if you're coming for dinner to make reservation as this isn't a very big establishment.
